Methinks it's the coat/shawl/whatver that's covering the white/light shirt underneath. Plus, I think there -was- a TNG-Romulan that looked like that... in the ep where Our Heroes ultimately discover aliens living in a Warbird's singularity-driven power source.

Nimoy (and, of course, Marsters) are hotter. It's the cheek-bones, the skininess, the smoldering eyes etc. Zachery just doesn't make the girls panties wet like they do.

| Quinto is in far too good a shape to look much like Nimoy's lean nerd-with-the-ability-to-kill. His beefy face suggests a slumming Romulan to me. |

I think the TNG Rommunist thing comes from his face being a little fat looking (a common feature of every actor to play a Rommunist on TNG for some reason) and the addition of the "Turtleneck" (as you guys would call it) and the wooly jumper thing just "completes the look",

After railing against the purists, I'm a little surprised to find myself saying this. I would have thought 'The Cage' era choppy haircut would have been in order, since this is the younger version of Spock.

I liked "The Cage" era Spock hair anyway. It's what we did for the old photo manipulations of Marsters as Spock (the last remaining one would be the site's banner). It just seems much more logical somehow.

I like the way his general looks tend to blend well with the Vulcan "look". Excellent!!
