Haven't been around for a while thanks to a lay-off which in some ways has turned out to be quite a blessing if you can belive that but i just wanted to stop in and say hello. It's funny you know, I spent three years working for a guy running his company while he played the role of absentee landlord and he just up and decides that he is going to lease the business out to someone else without talking to me first and ask if I would be interested and in the process doesn't even bother to offer me a job at any of his other companies (5 in all) so much for playing the loyal soldier who ran the company 6 days a week for the last 2 years as it's sole employee without taking a vacation or a singal sick day. His loss if you ask me, as it turns out a job offering was on it's way before I even left the company thanks in large part to me father, you see I have only been in the car business for a little over 4 years as I took a break from the family business (i'm a 4th generation printer) and one of the salesman he works with just took a job with another printing company as it's sales manager and he needs to build a sales force. I'm going to see him on Monday and from what I hear the territory is wide open as they only have one other guy right now and far too much equipment going to waste. |

Hey Dood!!! Missed ya 'round these parts!
Umm, dood? that was 3 sentences. You talk like my wife when she's on a tear about work.
Well, that partly sucks, but I'm glad you have such a good opportunity in front of you! Keep us posted, will ya???

Welcome back, dd. Hope the new gig works out.
The autumn days swung soft around me, like cotton on my
skin. But as the embers of the summer lost their breath
and disappeared, my heart went cold, and only hollow
rhythms resounded from within.

Thanks guys and it's good to be back, the wife has kept me really busy around the house so I am a little anxious to get back to work doing something other than everyday chores. It's been pretty good though the time has allowed me to get to quite a few things around here that has needed fixing for awhile now, i'm giving the house a long over due face lift.
So Ro, when will we start seeing some of season (2)? Not to rush you or anything I'm just looking forward to where Kirk and his crew are off to next. |

Well...Lemmiwinks (my new co-screenwriter) and I have got our hands full finishing out the scripts for the back half of season 1. However, if you go to Page 4 of the cast section, you'll see five of the characters that will be appearing in year 2.
But, tell you what...here's a rather big hint as to what the arc of season 2 is going to entail. This is something I knew I was going to do from the very beginning. If this secret were money, it has been burning a hole in my pocket:
However, being that this is a re-imagining, the object 'through' the earth will not be a sword, but something else that is equally recognizable (and similar in shape); the meaning of which will no doubt piss off a few people.

Jer, do you have a scan of the cover art for "The Bedside Confessional"?

A cross huh? I like it, I always thought that Trek should have at least touched upon religon even if only through symbolisim in more ways than just the occasional less advanvanced alien settlement still worshiping idols and the sun or a carved out volcanao hiding a super computer (So cliche).

Fantastic. We can actually use that cast photo of Jeremy as evil Spock I made last year!

Great Essay RO, and I like the way you have incorporated one of the most iconic and decorated Marines in the Corps history into the backstory as part of how the Mirror Universe came into being.

Thanx, dd. Yeah, SpiritOne got a kick out of the Butler aspect as well.
Hopefully, season 2 will at least live up the standard of season 1...which, in my opinion, came out fairly well.

So as you can all see I am attempting to spend a little more time around here as I really do miss it. Just had no idea the new job would keep me as busy as it has in such a short time. It's actually worked out really well, as it turns out the only other salesman with this company has been here for get this 4 years and never bothered to leave the building in one of the most profitable of areas that Massachusettes has to offer. I'm smack dab in the middle of the Technology hub with more Pharmacutical Companies than you could shake a stick at and they do MILLIONS of dollars worth of printing every year. This dumbass walked in the door from another company as it went out of business and brought his biggest client with him and apparently that was good enough for him so the territory is wide open.
Also EMC has it's corporate offices less than 5 minutes from the plant and he never bothered to call on them and is complaing because I just landed the account as well as CVS which he's really pissed about because he deals with a local broker that does a little work for them, this douche actually had the nerve to go to his client and sign a no compete contract trying to keep me away from them. Little does he know that I have known the print buyer there for 10 years and she is phasing out the brokers to deal directly with Printers to avoid the mark up. WHAT A PRICK!!! Instead of being happy that the company will profit from the work I bring in he's gone out of his way to Cockblock me every chance he gets. Is it my fault he was complacent and lazy? I think not and if he keeps it up i'll call on every one of his customers as the GM of the company who brought me in wants him gone anyway it's just a matter of time.
