When I got into Scrubs, it already had four seasons of quality entertainment under it's belt, and I was eagerly anticipating Season 5. When Season 5 came around, it had some great parts and some not so great parts, which was sort of disappointing, but at least it still had those good parts to enjoy.
Then Season 6 came around and I was completely bummed out because (aside from the fantastic Musical episode) it got to a point where I knew I wouldn't be watching if I weren't already a hardcore Scrubs fan, and it got to the point where by the end of Season 6 I was glad the show would be ending soon.
But I've just watched the third episode of season 7, and now I have mixed feelings. So far, each episode of season 7, while not having the absolute perfection that Season 3 had, has been really good. The jokes are original and genuinely funny, the acting's good again (I thought that they'd all gotten a little too OTT even for Scrubs), and even the "Lessons of the day" have gotten much more genuine feeling and not just tacked on; back to the way they used to be. It's great, assuming the quality keeps up, but I'm going to be really fuckin' bummed when the Finale airs.
