Yeah! smiley

Hmmm...East German beer!

House party must have been fun eh? Mostly since you couldn't give that bottle to the host...smiley

On my side, I welcomed the new year alone in a bus, on my way to a party in the suburbs after finishing work. It was awesome (the party)!

One of my friend played and rapped a few of his tunes along other stuff and, despite not beeing a big hip-hop fan (even though, most of this group of friends are), the guy is very talented. He's the one on the right:

In fact, it was so good that I stayed in the basement dancing and singing all night, despite most of the people (I mean girls) being upstairs...Well, I actually do that most of the time. I love dancing, even when I hate the songs! That pic doesn't reflect the explosive atmosphere downstairs, but that's the only one I got...

All the pics, including the sig pic, were taken at the same party on New Year's, and I enjoyed playing the chameleon. The theme was Red Carpet, so I got there with my 70's-style brown carpet!

And here's my traditionnal pic with two of my friends, one also beeing a neighbour. The other one I was supposed to go with in Thailand, but not working for three months, I had no more cash anymore...sucks so much!

Enough for the slice of life.

Hey, how do I do "click for larger" thumbnails?

@Rich: Yep, still got that one. Had to patch it, though.

As far as I remember, it was fun indeed. smiley

Great pics! Looks like a fun party! smiley

I wonder, how is New Year's Eve celebrated in the US and Canada? Do you burn lots of fireworks as well, drink sparkling wine and eat donuts (one of which is filled with mustard instead of jelly)?

If you wanted to check it out, the subject of alternate history is also addressed in the second from the top entry of the Essays section (For Now We See Through a Glass, Darkly).

He really wasn't the radical people make him out to be. Otherwise, it was a very chillingly possible scenario.
