So how did everyone make out with their Xmas swag?
My take included:
Slash's autobiography
Nikki Sixx: "The Heroin Diaries"
A new watch
A framed print of a vintage, German "Metropolis" poster
Cash
A bottle of Tullamore Dew
A bottle of Jameson's 12 year old

I got coal.
Beats reindeer poop, though.

I caught a really crappy cold (that is still kicking my ass) from my step-niece. Does that count?
Really though, as for gift-giving, the only person that would still think to get me anything is my mother, and she can barely afford she and my step-father's health insurance. So, to that end, I insisted she not concern herself with gifts. I didn't need anything anyway.
Although, Ivy and I did find a good and proper dive-bar in Mesa AZ on Christmas Eve that was an absolute blast. The girl behind the bar 'Libby' had the requisite dive-bar "rode hard and put away wet" look about her; massive fake tits tucked underneath a plain white T with no bra, vinyl pink knee-high 8-inch-heel fuck-me boots, a skanky skirt so short you could see her thong at all times, bad tattoos, the works. She rocked.
We felt right at home there.
There was bad karaoke, peanut shells on the floor, nothing but hard rock on the ancient jukebox, a looping video on a TV of female patrons showing their tits for no reason, a big old smelly dog that lived in the bar, and the only wine they had was strawberry 'Boone's Farm' served in cups rather than wine glasses.
That place fucking ruled. A Great christmas present. R&R Stix, it was called. We're going back to Mesa AZ one day just to hang out there again.
The autumn days swung soft around me, like cotton on my
skin. But as the embers of the summer lost their breath
and disappeared, my heart went cold, and only hollow
rhythms resounded from within.

They served everyones drinks out of Mason Jars.(except us we got real cups) Some with handles and some without. They also had grimy dusty bras and thongs stapled to the ceiling of the joint.
I found out why all the women where topless in the video. If you sat at the bar topless and drank a long Island Ice tea you got it for free. I for one was not going to risk losing my $50 Victoria Secret bra.
We had a blast and actually went back the night before we left. We are going back there again next time. I highly recommend the place.

Usual fare, cash, clothes a book and a DVD.
It was bizarre spending Christmas with my un-official "Step-siblings" whom I'd never actually met before. Especially when the little fuckers kicked my ass on the PS3.
