James T. Kirk
Jim was born and raised on his family's Iowa horse-ranch and potato-farm. Having spent the idle hours of his youth dreaming of one day commanding a starship, the young Kirk immediately enrolled in Starfleet Academy the moment he was eligible. After graduation he was presented with any number of career opportunities, eventually setting his sights on command.

Alongside his academy classmate and friend, Gary Mitchell, Kirk soon found himself granted a prestigious assignment aboard the USS Enterprise. Quickly rising through the ranks together, the two ambitious young men vied for the position of First Officer. Then, after Mitchell was suddenly transferred, Jim subsequently got the job.

However shortly after Kirk?’s promotion to XO, a horrible accident (that killed or injured many of the ship's crew) left Captain Christopher Pike permanently infirmed, ending his career forever. Therefore, now in-command of the starship Enterprise, Jim (the youngest CO in Starfleet history) finds himself in the harsh light of fate.

Sean Patrick Flanery attended the University of St. Thomas in Houston. After earning his theater degree, he moved to Los Angeles, quickly landing a regular role in The New Mickey Mouse Club as well as other notable television work. These roles gave way to his most recognizable mainstream character to date; that of Henry Jones Jr. in The Young Indian Jones Chronicles. Later, he achieved moderate creative success with films such as The Grass Harp, Frank & Jesse and Powder.

In 1999, the controversial indie phenomenon The Boondock Saints (his most acclaimed work to date) was released, and Sean finally arrived as an actor. Also, having pursued his interest in the martial arts through out his entire acting career, Flanery has become quite an accomplished athlete, holding black-belts in numerous disciplines.
