Mr. Spock
At a young age Mr. Spock learned that being the son of Councilman Sarek?—Vulcan?’s long-serving representative to the UFP?—carried the disadvantage of living in the shadow of a great man. Then, after Spock?’s beloved mother Samara passed away, Sarek?’s second wife Amanda came into his life.

Under his step-mother's human influence, Spock grew to believe that in order to distinguish himself he had to choose a path of his own; one very different from his famous father's. And he did exactly that when he became the first among his people to join Starfleet. A disciplined and private man, Spock found that he fit into the regimented structure of military life well. He received commendation after commendation and was eventually assigned to the USS Enterprise under the aloof but legendary Captain Christopher Pike.

A term of exemplary service as the ship?’s senior Science Officer saw him step into a role some have called ?“the Merlin to Pike?’s Arthur?”. And though he is loath to express it, Pike?’s departure from the captaincy has pained him a great deal. However, the promotion of a new?—and quite different?—commanding officer has proved an interesting new experience for Spock, one that will change his life forever.

James Marsters attended the Juilliard, the Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts, and the American Conservatory Theatre. After spending ten years doing stage work he moved to L.A. to pursue a career in film and television. After several guest roles he eventually took the part of 'Spike' on Buffy the Vampire Slayer (and it's spin-off Angel) where he enjoyed critical acclaim as well as pop-culture recognition. He is currently best known for his work in the series Smallville and the film Cool Money.

James is also a professional musician. He played the L.A. club scene for years, enjoying many sell-out gigs mostly performing covers of work by Tom Waits, Neil Young and Bruce Springsteen. He's made two albums of original material: Mad Brilliant with his band 'Ghost of the Robot' and the solo release Civilized Man.
