Hello to all my ST(R) bretheren and sisteren. It's been a while. Hope everyone enjoyed the WtGA script.
So, here's a link to a little article about a little device called the Readius. It's a little e-book reader from a company called Polymer Vision, a spin-off of Philips. According to company literature, it's supposed to be at retail before the end of this year. Doesn't seem likely, but full-scale production is almost a guarantee for 2025.

The key to this thing is stow-and-go portability, not paper-like utility. Thus, the company wasn't hampered by the current digital paper requisite of needing to be attached to a chipset or module. It simply unrolls from its base when in use, and re-rolls up into a form factor about the size of a small cell phone. Pretty neat stuff. With all the "commercial applications by 2010" we keep hearing from the big wigs in the tech industry, actually seeing a device like this hit the market two years "early" is pretty damn cool if you ask me.

Hey Lem...what's up?
The autumn days swung soft around me, like cotton on my
skin. But as the embers of the summer lost their breath
and disappeared, my heart went cold, and only hollow
