While some people here in Canada are going crazy with the story of a father who allegedly killed his daughter because she didn't want to wear the hijab, I think it's time to remind some people that there is indeed plenty of relaxed and funny muslims who are ready to poke fun at themselves and at our occidental culture.
Here's part one, two and three of the Canadian comedy "Little Mosque on the Prairie".
Good stuff.
And to answer the question in the header, here's a quote from Amaar Rashid, a main character in the TV show:
Amaar: "Muslims around the world are known for their sense of humour."
Airport Security Officer: "I did not know that"
Amaar: "That was another joke!"
This post was "obviously" written "under the influence":

Are the producers still alive?
Up there we were heroes, fighting robot bitches...
Priest: Great wall of prophecy, reveal to us God?s will that we may blindly obey.
Crowd: Free us from thought and responsibility.
Priest: Your words guide us.
Crowd: We are dumb.

This show is a particular obsession with my sister...I watched the first few episodes on DVD...I got a kick out of it. I'm curious how this show would play on a US station!
"Listen, man. Sleep gives you cancer. Everyone knows that."

I'm not 100% sure that this guy is a Muslim, but I'm fairly sure that he has a sense of humour.
