Very popular product among car dealers and reconditioners. We get a lot of vehicles in from auctions and trades that smell like someone left a decomposing body in the backseast, it's awful and Air Fresheners and simple deoderizer that you can pick up anywhere just doesn't cut it in most cases as the smell will return in just a few days. Other products jus hide or mask the smell for awhile and when they come back it's with a vengence. I actually had a couple from South Africa buy a minivan from me some time back and they themselve smelled like the hadn't taken a shower since the dawn of time itself and they complained about the smell in the van when they purchased it. I would imagine that the reference to DEAD BODIES if for companies that do fire restoration services as the smell of burnt human flesh if you have never been unlucky enough to smell it is pretty pungant and will make even the Iron Stomached vomit. We use quite a bit of Laquer Thinner as well, it gets out carpet and apholstery stains and removes smells that other stuff just won't take out.

Rhode Island. They had just moved here, but we actually get quite alot of folks from Africa looking to buy SUV's and ship them overseas. Pickup trucks and any 4x4 will bring double what they pay for them here it's very big business but it's also highly regulated and you have to have an in with a licensed exporter to make the deal legit or you would be facing federal charges for illegally exporting goods out of the country. Car parts also bring lots of money in Africa as well. |

I swear by that stuff - it even hides the odor from the police dogs.

The best way to keep police away is to go to small towns with 60 other treeplanters...they'll be overwhelmed and they'll basically let you just do about anything, as long as nobody dies...

Speaking of Police Dogs, the night before last (Thursday) around 8:30pm the family and I are sitting on the couch watching "Don't Forget The Lyrics" when we hear a car horn start blowing which dosen't stop for a good minute. After it stops we hear a loud explosion which during July isn't out of the norm as across the street from our house is a set of 3 baseball fields were the locals play in softball leagues all summer and hang out in the parking lot drinking beer, setting off fireworks and being loud until someone calls the Cops and they get forced to leave.
On this particular night however it turned out to be something different as that horn began to blow again and this time it didn't stop, so I go outside and find that in the parking lot directly in front out my house (Aprox 30-40 yards) from my front door is a burning vehicle. I call 911 and rush down to see if anyone is hurt, it's a late model Chevy Avalanche and the drivers side is butted up against the foliage that blocks the view of the field from my street and the 2 passanger side doors are wide open with no one in site.
A couple of minutes go by and the Police and Fire crew's show up, it takes a good 15-20 minutes to put the fire out and by now many of the people the live in the low income housing on the oposite side of the field have shown up to watch. The police start asking if anyone knows anything or has seen anything and they have a K-9 unit there searching the brush. (NOW HERES WHERE IT GETS INTERTESTING)
A couple of kids come forward about age 13-15 and say they saw 2 people running from the truck through one of the fileds and the police say that they picked up 2 guys fitting their description a couple of blocks away and would the kids be willing to get into a cruiser and go ID them, they say sure but heres the kicker and the point to this whole story. The Police officer that was talking to them was the one from the K-9 unit and had a shepard with her which is now going ape shit trying to get at these kids which isn't uncommon if you get to close to one of those dogs and it's handler so they take the dog away bring the kids over to ID said suspects and when they return the K-9 officer starts to thank them but the dog goes nuts yet again from an even farther distance this time so another office sugests that maybe the kids had been smoking or around someone that had and they get searched. Wouldn't you know it but one of them had a couple of OZ's in his pocket.
And the Dumb Ass of the Year Award goes to? The stupid drug dealer that got caought trying to talk to a K-9 Officer while he was holding. Thanks for all you help kid but your going to have to come with us. Now that stupid shit had to share a holding cell with the guys he just made running away from a stolen truck that they set on fire. TALK ABOUT IRONY! SHEEESH!!!
Sorry this was so long.
